Tennisopolis : Tennis Social Network

Hello!

My name's Sanidia and I've been in Atlanta for just over a year. (from San Francisco) I've been so busy with work for the past year I haven't slowed down to meet new people or do anything, really. My employers love tennis and I played around with them for a while and was really loving it! I'd like to pick it up as a hobby, I'm very competitive and know I would be amazing once I knew what I was doing.

I've priced coaches and decided against it only because I'd like to meet people while I play and maybe someone would enjoy showing me the ropes. I'm totally open to male, female, young, older and I hope to hear from everyone soon. I'm excited to maybe join a team after I've learned what I'm doing and gain confidence on the court.

the pics are of me, one of my doggies, and me and my pop. Thanks for reading and hope to see ya soon!!

One good strategy would be to allot a couple of hours to visit one of the places in the Atlanta area where people go to pick up games. I know Lilburn City Park (in my area) is good for that, but that might not be convenient for you to get to. If you are so green that you cannot even score, then it might be worth it to join a novice group to just get you started and then go the pick-up route. If you are so against coaches that you do not want to do that, then buy a book about the basics of tennis (scoring, etc.) and go a pick up games. You would learn on your own by playing against novices like you or people a bit better,
