Attention all Tennis Players!
I'm forming tennis groups for the Spring Season.
1. Get 4+ beginner players! (Complete newcomers accepted!)
2. Get 4+ Intermediate to Advanced players!
1. Group practice/learning session for 30-60 minutes.
2. Then Matches, doubles or singles.
I'll do my best to keep the groups by level depending on who shows up. I'll also be happy to help anyone learn or improve (even if you are brand new!).
I'll bring a hopper of balls for practice.
This is for adults, but college kids are of course accepted!
Believe it or not, this is completely free!!! Not too good to be true!
Pittsburgh has a lot of public courts available, 13 courts at Schenley Park (my preference), 8 courts at Highland Park, and others as well.
Depends on the group response.
I can play: 7-10am M-Su
4-11pm Tu, Th – Sun
I do have a job on Weekdays normal hours, its just flexible. J
Personally I'm a 4.5 level player, 24 yrs old, with 4 yrs Division III college experience.
Forming tennis groups is an excuse to get out of the office and meet people.
While I'd never turn down a competitive match, my goal is not really competition for myself, but just forming a fun group to foster tennis in Pittsburgh.
Email me with interest and further details!
We can start when you are ready!

This is so cool.
Hi Bill, Unfortunately I am in New Mexico. I am an Admin of Tennisopolis and just stopped in to say that this looked like a good plan. Did it materialize last spring?
Hey Bill, are you going to form these groups again this spring? Sounds like a great plan, would love to join up. Thanks!
My name is Dan Craig. I am 34 in two weeks. I have a few hitting partners, but I would love to hit with someone new. My buddies play a lot of hockey, so they can't hit sometimes. Like today! I am a solid 4.0, maybe 4.5 from baseline, my serve stinks. I love hitting, doing hitting drills, or playing a game to 10. I can serve too, just a work in progress. I have been playing with good technique for about 10 years. Give me a call today if you aren't already hitting.
