Semi-Beginner looking near LAVC
I'm a semi-beginner who used to play frequently in High School but haven't played in about 3 years. Looking to get back into the tennis thing. I'm right near LA Valley College and their 7 decent courts. But I am flexible as far as locations to play. Reply if interested.

Sounds cool. Just one problem...I think the LAVC courts are locked (at least they were when I checked one afternoon), but maybe there are other courts that are accessible near our area. I just moved here a couple of months ago, so I am still figuring out the area. What are your days of availability?

I live near LAVC and have a flexible schedule. I'm a beginner and have hit a little bit with friends. I have no idea my rating. I was a college athlete (long time ago - not tennis) so I'm not completely retarded. Let me know if you want to give it a try. Thanks.

I am intrigued by your comment. My days of availability are Mondays and Wednesdays after 5 pm. I've noticed that the courts @ LAVC can be locked from time to time. Since I am new to this area, I don't know of other courts nearby that are more accessible. If you do let me know. I'm thinking softball.

Hi. I just drove past those courts today and wondered if they were open to the public? Do you know when they are open to non students? I'm pretty good at hitting. Not a ace, but able to serve well enough to play. Just looking to hit and get back into it. I am good after 1pm while it's cool out. Earlier in summer when the kids don't use the courts for tennis teams.
Also, the Courts at Soaks/Van Nuys are free before 5pm. -

Hey Matthew, I live in Sylmar am looking for a partner to hit with on weekends and some weekdays, i played for about 5 years, quit, played in high school, played in college for one semester, i've kinda lost touch but am looking to get back into it seriously this time, so if your interested send me a msg on here, am flexible with locations and timings.
