Tennisopolis : Tennis Social Network

Hey all,

I'm moving to Seattle in January and I'm looking for people to hit with.

I'm from California and I hit everyday. The more tennis I play the better, I don't want to get rusty.

I'm a 4.5 player.

would like to meet some people who could show me some good tennis spots in the area.

Just shoot me a message if you're interested.

Unless you find some friends with access to a private club you're going to want to hook up with people here and the Amy Yee (public indoor, though not heated, tennis center) during the winter months, which by some estimates begins around October and ends around May... but seriously, it may not rain very hard in Seattle but it rains often enough that playing outside is tough during the winter months, plus it's cold, though a lot of people still hit in the cold, I played about a month ago at night.. probably the best public courts are the Lower Woodland courts, their are ten courts with lights and they were recently redone. Anyway, good luck with your tennis!
Greenlake has a great outdoor "complex" near the zoo that has lights. I think they are still operational. I plan on finding out when I get back up there in the new year.
Hey Jon,

Thanks for that. When are you back in Seattle? We should get together and play. I haven't played since I moved and it's killing me!
