How to avoid this hole that appeared in just about a month playing couple times per week?

it looks like a poor mechanical design, on the part of the shoe designer.

The small toe presses out on the wall of the shoe, as we all start-stop-and change-direction

so many times on the court.

Thanks for supporting my belief. And this is current model of Roger Federer! Any ideas how to minimize further damage?

i just found those shoes of yours on tennis warehouse.

I just looked at my tennis shoes, and the shoe maker puts double leather in that spot, near the little toe.

I don't want to start any debate here with the whole member base, so I won't mention shoe company names.

But, mechanically, if you bought, let's say, a pair of sunglasses and they started to crack within 2 months; wouldn't

you typically just avoid that brand in the future ?

Ironically, RF played first game of latest tournament in London in AJ3 that has leather but switched to Vapor 9.5 in next games. Probably, convenience is more important than durability. At least for those who could afford to switch items before they got worn. :)
