$2,000 Tennis Tourney in August.

Hello, tennis friends!

I'm a tennis enthusiast and want to watch some quality matches so I've decided to host / sponsor a local tournament, with a field of 64 players.

I will award $2,000 in prize money.

$1,000 to the champion.
$500 to the runner up.
$250 to each semifinalist.

There is $0 entry fee. I will absorb the entire cost of the tournament.

Looking for Division 1 college players, top ranked juniors, former or current ATP / WTA touring pros, 5.5 + NTRP, etc.

Tournament format: Singles, best 2 out of 3 sets, normal scoring, single elimination.

The tourney will be held in the DFW metro the first week of August.


*There are currently 4 of my friends signed up as of June 28th. They all have ratings of 5.5 or higher, with 3 of them having an ATP ranking.
