Looking for someone to play in Philadelphia
I'm looking for someone to play in Philadelphia. I just moved into the area and don't know of any indoor courts to play, nor do I know a lot of people who play.
I've played tennis all my life, but I'm a little rushy because I haven't played in a few years! Hopefully I'm not too bad anymore, and I'm sure a little rust would be cleared right up! Shoot me a message if you're interested in playing anytime! Thanks!! :-)

I'd love to! I'm guessing the courts are indoors? I used to be pretty good but I have not played in a few days other than serving a little bit when I've gone to Florida. At this point I'd just like to get some hitting in and maybe try to get someone to set up a weekly game or something. I can typically get together any night after 6-6:30, and I am usually away on weekends. Let me know if that works for you!

great! the courts are indoors, but since its a fitness center , there is a fee for members and non-members to use the facility- (i havent used it in a while so I dont remember the exact price). We can give them a call next week to finalize that part of it and go from there? The best time for me would be after 7 on tuesdays and wednesdays. Have a great weekend!

Depending on the price, and how well our playing goes, I'd like to try to get a consistent court time schedule (i.e. every week or every other week for an hour or so). If you could give the place a call I would really appreciate it. Depending on the prices of course. I figure we could split the price of court time.

the price is actually on the high end for the time we are looking to play (3-9pm) $56/hr (28 per person). (9pm-10) is $40... Ill call you by the end of this week so we can decide

Lauren, (Others), please keep me in mind.
I have courts where I live and I too in recent years have gone from playing often to rusty. When the weather warms up I'm anxious to have at least a semi-regular roster of comparable opponents. I'm about a 4.0 when in tennis shape!!!
Cost: zero (except gas/ bridge toll). Courts in very good shape (private condo courts, key access only) or they were before our ongoing ice age.
Good combination of sociable and competitive and I'm looking for same.
Please give me a buzz or e-mail I do not get on this site too often. Others invited to do so also....I can play most weekdays too (but not at night).
Spring Training starts in about 36 hours, can outdoor tennis be far behind!!
