Hey guys,
I'm trying to get back into shape. I suffered a bad neck and back injury last year and I haven't been able to play tennis since then. I think I'm slowly getting better though, but I'm trying to work my way back into shape as I gained some weight on top of the neck/back injury. When it rains it storms, right?
So honestly I have no idea what my "rank" would be right now. It would probably be less than 5.0, that's all I know.
When I was playing frequently, I had a strong first serve, good kick second serve, good slice backhand, 1 hand top spin backhand on rare occasion, great forehand, good volleys.
I played tennis throughout highschool and college and for a couple years after college. I'm 25 now.
No idea what to expect when I get back on the court but if anyone 4.0+ wants to hit, that would be awesome.
I can play as early as next week. Located in Fullerton, CA. Willing to drive reasonable distances.
Oh -- and despite being on the mend, I'm a super competitive guy. I'll probably be down to play a set or 3 if you want!

Hey Kevin, I'm looking for a tennis partner as well. I'm around a 4.0-4.5 level currently and I also played a bit in college. I try to hit at least once a week and am always looking for new partners! I live in Rancho Santa Margarita (which is somewhat of a trek from Fullerton), but I know of some public courts in Lake Forest that are usually free. There are also courts in Irvine off of Jeffrey and I-5 as well (depending on the day/time). Let me know if you're interested!

Irvine would be great.

There are some racquetball courts at Tri-City Park in Fullerton that you can go hit against just to get some sorta feel. Of course the ball doesn't bounce the same but it's something. I live in Fullerton but play at a friends school in La Mirada. I'm 4.0 and would be down to hit sometime.
