Hey kate,
There are group and private classes at Brengle Terrace, you can look them up at the City of Vista website :http://www.cityofvista.com/departments/parks/sports/
I usually play at Rancho Del Oro park, in Oceanside and they have group/private classes as well. Iplay at Brengle every once in a while, maybe we'll see each other there!
Is Temecula close enough? I could make weekends with advance notice. I'd like to get back into it too. Male early 50's. Haven't played since last year (doubles then). I'd say about a 3.5 level. Colin.

City of Carlsbad also has classes at Poinsettia Park.

Go to page 36-37 to see the schedule for tennis.
They have tons of courts there so you will likely find one open if you just want to hit some balls with someone.
