Comment by Adam Cooper on July 10, 2012 at 3:21pm How'd everyone else fair and does anyone know how traffic is down in Rockville town center? Imagine the lights are still out but have to organize teams to play down that way today.
That storm was rough! No house damage but lots and lots of huge limbs down in yard. Spent nine hours chainsawing yesterday and totally exhausted. This might be the one time I'm happy my knees won't let me play tennis today! Not sure I'd be able to. :)
Comment by William Wong on June 30, 2012 at 9:37am Hope you guys are alright from the storm we had last night!
Comment by William Wong on June 25, 2012 at 9:37pm Glenn: Yeah, calling it out does help...however had complaints that doing that disrupts the concentration of the players...so...meh. And our WTT thing is gonna end next week anyways...we're allowed to get other subs for that day? LOL. I currently have one sub right now...a hand-me-down who essentially talks WAY too much, but plays well when he's focused. This WTT league thing has been very...irritatingly funny. I guess that's how to put it correctly.
William, I make sure my players announce the score loud and clear before every serve. I did that after some score disputes but I haven't had any problems since. Loud and clear....of course, it's hard when Eminem is blaring from the soccer stadium. :)
Check out this scorecard. http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/Score_Keeper_Set/descpageATHCON-SCS...
DIBS!!! He's mine William. :)
