tryiing to get back into the game and play more.. So, I'm looking for someone to hit with in or near by Williamsburg weekday afternoons. Skill level anywhere around 3.0.

Also, does anyone know of any courts in or near Williamsburg that don't require a parks pass? (I'm fine with getting one regardless if I find people to hit with regularly.)

I'm free in the afternoon this week. I live near McCarren Park and I have a permit. Sounds like you'd either need to luck out (arrive when there's no one checking) or get a single-play ticket or a permit. Anyway, let me know. I'm definitely up for hitting, and in the 3.0-3.5 range.
Zach, besides having a permit myself, I have a leftover single-play ticket from 2010. Technically not valid, but it might pass muster if you want to give it a try. My number is 347-457-5401 (landline), 646-319-4701 (cell), Jim

Hi Zach,

I'm interested in getting back into the game also.

I played competitivly in high school a long while back.

At this point, I think I play around a 3.0

Weekday's are great for me.

As I'm a freelancer, I can be available to play pretty much any time other then early morning.

sounds good. Do you have a permit to play in the parks?

FYI, the McCarren Park courts officially open at 8 am, so even on weekends there's never anyone checking permits at 7 am. I'd be interested in hitting at 7 am tomorrow, by the way.
I'll be out of town for the holiday weekend but I'd be in for hitting later in the week.
Great. Wednesday and Thursday look like good days for me. Let me know whenever you know what works for you.
