Tennisopolis : Tennis Social Network

Hi all.

I just moved to Manhattan, and need some tennis partners.  Looking for people who want to play semi-competitve games/sets/matches.

I'm on 44th and 9th.  I don't know the locations of any courts yet or how to book them if need be, so maybe you can enlighten me.

Let me know if anyone wants to play this Sat.  Preferably early afternoon.

Thanks,
Michael

Mike ,
You need to get there at least a half hour before 2pm to buy a play pass (7.00) at snack bar, and sign in down stairs outside. Call me when you get there and I call you. My# 917-796-5216.
Tennis shoes required.
Hope its not too oppressively hot.

I'll be there at 1:30 to buy a pass and sign in. I'll wear tennis shoes.

A couple of questions:
1 - What surface will we be playing on? (I'm assuming it's clay because of the shoe rule, but I just wanna be sure)
2 - How much time does $7 get us on the court for?
3 - Shall I bring a couple cans of fresh balls?
4 - Where is the entrance for the courts?

-Mike

MIke, You can go directly in at 96th street from the Westside. About 5 minute walk. Courts are clay mix and are just above the reservoir, south of the transverse. Play is one hour per. You can buy balls there and tennis stuff.
What is your number so we can connect? Or text me.
