yeah actually, that works.  i'll have to run home and get my rackets... i have plenty of balls as well so no worries there.  as far as securing a court... i think we'd have to get there as soon as we can to sign up... and be there like 15 minutes ahead of court time.  they have a no show list in case there aren't any available courts.  how soon can you get there?

i also know of some courts in the Bronx that aren't hard to get to and are always available.

Mill Pond?  it's near the 149th street 4/5 train.  i believe the 2 stops there as well. we can just try CP for now... if we can't get on, we can assess the daylight and trek up if you like... or plan another outing.
