Beginner tennis on weekdays?

Hey there guys, I've just joined the group and am looking to play a bit of tennis. I haven't played in years and even then, not that much, but I thought it would be good fun to get out there in the sun. I'm looking for beginner tennis during the weekdays. I moved here from Scotland 4 wks ago and I can't work so looking to fill up my days. I live in Greenwich Village but am willing to travel- have no idea where the courts are here!!
