I don't know how to respond to the Dix Hills Tennis player (above) asking if anyone is looking for casual playing. I am in Bay Shore and am looking for someone to play with. Just hitting is good.

Yes. Looking  to play casual tennis. Not into score keeping either.

Just recently interested in playing tennis again. Used to play in varsity high school team but have been away from the game for some time. Anyone interested in playing today?

If anyone is looking for just fun doubles 3.5 to 4.0 level mostly, with some 3.0 players intermixed, then go to John Burns memorial park 7 days a week, at 9 am and there are about 20 to 30 players there every morning for doubles.  You just sit on the bench and they pair you up to play.  Fabulous fun doubles.

Looking for weekday doubles or mixed doubles.  I live in Bayshore and have a beautiful private court surrounded by high bushes, so wind is not a factor.

I am 4.0 rated and a senior citizen.
