I am in the same boat. I live in KCK and might be interested in trying to meet up. I have been stringing some racquets for a guy at work that plays USTA, and I am wanting to get back to playing as well.

I'm right there with both of you two, former 4.5+ college player took 8 years off in my 20s and am back into it now in my early 30s. Need hitting partners badly here in KC. I live in the Plaza area but would travel a bit if necessary. Thanks, Derek

It is usually easiest to reach me at [edited by Moderator]. I will gladly provide a phone number if you hit me up through there. I strung a couple of racquets for a guy last night and that always gives me the itch to play. I really need to restring my racquets too. I am out in KCK and I don't know where a ton of courts are. I usually play over off of like 72nd and Leavenworth Rd. They have some nice courts over there.

Ditto for me, except I haven't taken as many years off and I was just a 4.0. I live downtown but work in Lenexa, so it's an easy trip that I'd gladly make for some tennis. Any of you can shoot me an e-mail - [edited by Moderator] - maybe we could all make it out at the same time.

I did call but never received a reply. Normally, I would be interested but I ruptured a disk in my lower neck 3 months ago, and I'm out of commission. I should know shortly whether I need surgery.

Hopefully you're on the mend and didn't require surgery. 

If you're still looking for hitting partners, even light hitting while you're recovering, give me a call. 

My club, Midtown in OP has half price court time that makes it pretty reasonable.

Thanks for the message. Unfortunately, I did have surgery in December, and I'm on a short leash for at least another month. I would definitely like to hit after that.
