First time tourney newbie Female 3.5-4.0 looking for the same level or higher to train/play with.

My name is Jenna. I'm enrolling for USTA tournament and Flex leagues for the first time, and I would like to play/train with someone who is 3.5 or higher. USTA and my friends rated me 4.0, but giving the lack of experience in playing set, playing in the tourney and the leagues, I would say I'm 3.5.

Regularly, I play with my friends who are 4.0-5.0. I can keep up the rally with them, but I'm really REALLY lack of the consistency and have a lot of unforced errors.

I never actually get a chance to play with someone who is in the same rating with me, especially for female - NEVER.

So I'm looking forward to play with both male and female who are about the same rating with me (3.5-4.0 Male or Female, and for 4.5 FEMALE only). So that I can get a feel of what type of players I will be facing in the tourney and the leagues.

I'm just really looking for someone who I can actually have fun hitting with regularly and also competitive in my level.

PS. I don't particularly want to travel to any other locations because I have many courts nearby to where I live: Beeman Park (aka Studio City Recreation Park - 4 courts), Noho Park (Tujunga & Magnolia - 5 courts with lights) and Weddington Tennis Park - 16 courts with lights.

However, If the distance of your favorite courts are not too far from Studio City (less than 10 miles), then I'll make an exception.

Please drop your phone # and we can schedule the time to play.

Let's have a tennis fun time together.

Jenna let's hit. [moderator email removed-use private msg feature]
Hi Jenna, so I noticed that in your first pic your actually floating! That is bad! No floating! Your feet must be firmly on the ground. Just kidding. So I'm in Hollywood, just over the hill and I was thinking that if we were a good tennis match, I could go to you one week and you come my way the next. It would be way less than 10 miles. Playing for me is about getting better and Having FUN. I like being competitive to an extent, but when that takes precedence over having fun, whats the point?

Anyway, I'm a 4 and I just joined a league also. My other partners are out on injuries. I can only play starting at 6 weeknights and am fairly open on weekends. My number is [moderator phone removed-use private msg feature] I kinda would rather pay for courts than have to stop playing when somebody else shows up, ya know. Noho courts are like that. I've never been to Weddington.

So call me and we'll set something up

Kevin
