I am a 23 year old tennis coach that resides in San Francisco and have over 14 years of tennis experience. I play USTA tournaments 5.0 level and up. I also played for the CIty College of San Francisco club team, and we won a trip to play for Nationals in North Carolina! I am also a LEFTY and can hit consistent topspin shots, so be prepared for a great workout!
My emphasis as a coach is always going to be mental toughness, for I believe it gives you the best chance to win. I am currently studying Kinesiology as well, so I can get a great sense of how the body moves, reacts, and feels while playing sports.
-The three big Cs which I highlight are:
Coordination, consistency, and cooperation. When we are on the court we become a team to develop your tennis game. There is no I in team, so I believe in working hard collectively to achieve your tennis desires. You will become incredibly coordinated and be hitting with a lot more consistency then you ever have before. I have a great sense in reading what type of drills are proper for a particular player, so that improvement can be easily achieved.
I currently have 3 students from the GLBT group and all have shown amazing improvement throughout this past year (2013). I feel what separates me from other coaches is the passion that I have in my heart for the game. After every lesson I go home and write down what went well what didn't and what needs work. This way improvement comes a lot quicker! I care a lot about your improvement and tennis desires!
Prices:
-90 minute private lessons: $50. I have a basket of balls and extra racquets if needed. I show up half and hour before our lesson and wait for the court, just in case there's people playing. That way we are 100% guaranteed the court in 10-15 minutes.
-90 minute hitting/match play: $40. If slowly getting back into the game/shape we will start at a great pace for you. "Crawl before you walk."

-5 90minute sessions: $230
-10 90minute sessions: $470 great deals!
