If you're looking for social tennis, the Montclair Tennis Association (MTA) hosts a weekly hot courts, or round robin, for players from 3.0-4.0. The cost is $2.
Upcoming events include the annual fall trip -- last year it was Hawaii and this year, Lair of the Bear. MTA's annual fees are $25/individual or $30/family. Other social tournaments include the Turkey Tournament and mixed doubles round robins.
I took a look at the MTA website, seems like a nice place to play.
I'm a 4.0 player (46 yo, male), do you have many 4.0 members?
If I were to join MTA, what would be your best recommendation as to how I would meet players at my level? I noticed the website showed a ladder, but there were only six names on it.
