Looking for women interested in practice and match play. I've gotten back into the game after many years hiatus (I'm in my 40s now and haven't played since high school). I would rate myself around 3.0-3.5 right now.
I live in the Oakland Hills but can travel to play, within reasonable distance (I work in Fremont, so Fremont/Hayward/Union City/San Leandro etc all on my way home). Weeknights after 6:00, or Sundays.

Hi Allison,
My name is Andrew Hom and I work for the Alameda Recreations and Parks Dept (ARPD), as a tennis coach for beginners. I would like to ask if you would be willing to come to Alameda (Washington Park) to play or hit with women from my class who are also looking for the same? If not, I can ask if they would be willing to meet you in San Leandro or wherever you guys decide. I'm not always online, so you can feel free to text me as well. My number is 510 282 4259. Thanks.
Hi Andrew: yes, I'm open to that. Is there a set day/time already or are you just looking to connect people for non-lesson play?
I have 2hr evening classes at Washington Park on TUEs & THUs at from 6:30-8:30pm ($20 drop-in, if you're interested), but I'll let my other players know tonight. Is there a way that they can contact you if they're not on Tennisopolis? Thanks for getting back so quickly.
Andrew
Yes, I might be interested in some lessons—I could use some refreshers! I'll see what my schedule is like and hopefully I can catch a class with you.
I can be contacted at allison@milmoe.com
Sure thing. It's a group class, with varying skill levels. Some of them are regulars, so they're more like high 3.0. It's lower Washington Park, on court #4, behind the hitting wall. Otherwise, I'll pass along your email address to those women who are interested. Thanks again Allison.
Andrew
