Tennisopolis : Tennis Social Network

Hey all. So the self-rating system says I'm a 5.5 having played in college, however I'm more than a few years removed from any competition or regularly scheduled tennis. I'm currently a grad student on clinical clerkships (at the moment in Albany/Berkeley) and just looking to get back into the swing of things, as I have been in tennis withdrawal since starting in my current program. I'm not necessarily looking to train seriously (but wouldn't mind it), but rather just casual hitting sessions, pick-up singles/doubles, basically anything to get back out there. I've actually got access to a single private court at our condo complex that's in great shape in Albany, but am open to other spots as well. I've got time during the week after 5PM for the most part, as well as weekends. Please let me know if you're interested!

Hi Eric

I am a solid 4.5-5.0 player and live in Berkeley. I've been out for a little bit with an injury, but am looking to get back out there. If you would be interested in hitting, let me know.

Juli
Ex-college player here too, currently my right shoulder and arm doesn't really allow me to play sets without my game deteriorating to embarrassing levels.
I play mostly in montclair, not promising A level game but if you want to kill a day let me know.
that's fu _ _ __ great. i find the rating symstem pretty funny. played junior hell circuit, was ranked .. who cares in ..ncta and nationals all that ....

anyway. stopped playing for forever. then played and taught / played with kids getting yelled at by there dad or mom.

i think i would be really good to hit with actually. from what you wrote. only thing i have to mention is i got messed up by a car three years ago. so my movement isn't as good as it was. lucky hasn't effected strokes / serve...

okay man

hope to hear from you
