Hi, I just joined this network and am excited about the possibility of getting on the court again.  I'm on summer vacation right now (I'm a teacher), so my schedule is fairly flexible.  I'm visiting my family in southern CA at the moment, but will be back to the East Bay in about a week.  Let me know if you'd like to play!

Hi Sheila,

Just want to let you know that I am still very much interested in playing!  I needed to stay in LA a bit longer than I originally anticipated, but will definitely be back in Oakland early next week.  I'll be in touch if you're still looking for hitting partners.  At this point, I'd be able to meet you in the morning or evening, your call.  Going to hit with a ball machine down here in the meantime!

Yes, that would be great.  The only thing is that I am just getting back to tennis, so I will be very rusty.  If you are a regular player, that may be frustrating.  I am scheduled for some evaluation at the Lafayette Tennis Center on Monday, where I am hoping to get a little more guidance on next steps-- i.e. clinics/training partners.  So again, I understand if you'd rather use that available time to play someone closer to your level.  Just let me know.
