I noticed you live in Irvine. Have you check out the city of Irvine tennis program? It has a lot of options. There are USTA flex leagues year round for singles players, team leagues for those who want to belong to a team and World Team Tennis (WTT) on weekday evenings. There is also a site called TennisOC.com that has quite a few players living in Irvine.

BTW, have you rated yourself? Coach Ruben at Bill Barber Colonel Park on the cross street of Harvard & Barranca can rate your skill level so you can find the right group of hitters. I believe this service is free.
