Tennisopolis : Tennis Social Network

Hi my name is CoachV - William Vazquez. I started playing tennis in the Bronx. Over the years Bronx Tennis has declined. I want to rebuild Bronx tennis with Tournaments,Training, Social events & Leagues.

Finding Good players was hard for me growing up in the Bronx and finding people to help grow tennis here was even harder.

this Group to help Players find players & events and grow tennis in the Bronx.

Again thanks for joining I look forward in meeting you all.

you may Contact Derek David, Currently in charge of local tournaments & will help me with the Bronx league in 2013. Derek knows many good players in the Bronx and is the best contact for stringing and Tennis tournaments in the Bronx.

This is Derek David (known to most as the Commisioner of Pelham Bay Park).  If anyone wants to improve their tennis, they can come to Pelham Bay Park, ask for the Commish and I will give you practical advice on how to improve.  I will not overload you with too much advice; just simple ideas or philosophies on how to keep improving while enjoying tennis (like hit the ball hard whenever you practice).  I also run $10 entry fee tournaments where practically all the entry fees minus the cost of balls go into prize money.

Sincerely CoachV -William Vazquez

I am new to the game of tennis but would love to participate in events and hopefully get better as a player. Any events or people interested in getting a game on, let me know. Thanks!
