West End / Boston / Cambridge: 3.5 - 4.0 player looking for folks to play!

Hi all,

I just moved to Boston from Saint Louis late in 2012, and have been itching to play. But the weather has been making it quite difficult! I live in the West End next to MGH / Green Line Science Park T stop. There are a few courts near me (including a clay court) but I don't know if they are public or part of apartments. I will find out this week whether they are available for residents of my building.

I'm down to play anytime after work or on weekends. I also have a car and can drive somewhere to meet or pick up if needed.

Let me know if you are down and we can exchange info.

Also, does anyone know of a good tennis store/stringer that won't break the bank with stringing?

BTW, in terms of skill level, I played varsity doubles in HS, didn't play at all during college, and started to again when I began working in 2007 in Chicago and Saint louis. I would be down for just rallying, working on specific elements of our games (I have a sub-par backhand), or playing competitive sets.

I work near MGH so I could play at those courts if they are in fact public and if you don't mind playing with someone at a lower level.
