I'm up for hitting at 7:30 tomorrow, if you know of a nearby place with lights. I'm in the 3.5-4.0 range. Moved to Chevy Chase from New York City last month, and haven't been on a tennis court since I moved. It's time to do something sbout that! .
Sounds good to me - I actually just recently played at Meadowbrook Park for the first time and there were decent lights and we didn't have to wait for a court, so that may be a good place to try - it's right in Chevy Chase on Meadowbrook Lane just south of East-West Highway. Basically, after you turn off of East-West Highway onto Meadowbrook Lane, you'll want to make a right at the second stop sign right by the equestrian fields, then follow that long driveway all the way around to the very end and park in the lot there and you'll see the four lighted tennis courts behind the picnic pavilion.
If that's convenient for you, I could probably make it there around 7:45 or definitely by 8. In case you need to reach me tomorrow, my mobile # is 410-991-5768.
OK. I'll be there at 7:30. Don't need a permit, do I? (You need one to play on NYC public courts.)
You can reach me by texting 646-319-4701.
Oh, I see you said 7:45.- 8. See you then.
No permits needed around these parts!
Sorry for the switch-up on the time; I'm about 20 minutes away from Meadowbrook, so it'll take me a little longer to get down there through the Bethesda traffic, but I'll try to be there by 7:45 and I'll text you if I'm running late for any reason.
