Google group for scheduling matches

Hi,

Since I joined tennisopolis, I have found some people that I now regularly play with.  One of the problems with tennisopolis right now is that it is hard to keep in touch with people from the website:

Following a discussion or a group leads in too many notifications which are not directed to anyone in particular.  But unsubscribing from them results in missing out on important replies.

To solve this problem, I have created a google group.  Some of us have been "beta testing" the group for sending "let's play tennis today/tomorrow/this weekend" type of emails, and it has been working great.  So in the interest of making it visible to more people, I am posting about the group here.

The group is at: https://groups.google.com/group/east-bay-tennis.  In order to make sure we don't get spam, you need to apply for membership (sorry).  But once you are a member, you can email the group at any time.
