Where are informal group of players where you can just show up and play doubles?

I am currently doubles playing tennis 7 days a week here in SoCal, decent 3.5 level. I know of several local courts in my area where I can just show up at 7:30am in the morning and there will always be 10-12 players and we just take turns to play 2-3 sets. I am a woman but play a lot with guys....Does something like this exist in Austin, and if so where? My husband wants to move to Austin where he went to school, and I have agreed to try it out next spring for 6 months...We are not restricted to certain neighborhoods for commuting purposes. My husband wants to look into circle C area...but the grey rock club does not seem to be a very alive place, or am I wrong? Where are the everyday tennis warriors hiding? thanks fr any guidance and advise.
