I've tried to adjust my serve to give me more room for error, snapping my wrist earlier, more head speed, etc. My problem is that a majority or my serves will land within six inches of the serves lines. What do you suggest.

A simple adjustment to hitting balls long is to toss the ball a few inches farther forward. Other solutions involve, brushing up on the ball with arm pronation to get more topspin. Topspin will bring the ball down faster. I hope this helps somewhat.
Thanks,
