potential tennis player

you should mention where you are located :D but you should take some classes with your local USTA section, thus meeting other players to hit with and play with, and at the same time, take some lessons. Sadly, depending where you are lessons can be expensive. The going rate in Hawaii is $50-75 an hour. There are pros that run group packages--private and group lessons.

You sound like a very mature minded athlete, which, for any coach is a absolute positive aspect in any player trait. I certainly would like to have the honor of coaching you, and since I do most of my coaching services for "free" to the most dedicated players I work with you certainly fit that mold. I am located in New York, however, I would like to see your tennis abilities via video if you can make one for a youtube.com clip or vlog and post here in tennisopolis.com, I can review the format and give you feed-back directly.
