mixed doubles anyone?

Does anyone get the kind of practice out of mixed doubles I do? I am playing 9.0. my 4.0 partner doesn't have much of a serve but I have to cross and get involved no matter what.

It was even better practice playing 8.5 mixed and letting players like bg and raj rip returns from my 3.5 partner and I had to cross no matter what... I had to get involved.
