Clubsport San Ramon Doubles Tournament 9/15-16/2012
I've seen a sign in front of the pavilion building Tompkins Tennis is hosting a Doubles Tournament Sept 15 and 16 and Sunday BBQ for 3.5 to Open Divisions in Men and Women. I'm not sure if this tournament is limited to Clubsport members or not. It's one of the few local tournaments available, non-USTA. Inquire at Tompkis Tennis at Clubsport San Ramon.

The tournament is open to adults, 3.0 level or higher. You should sign up with a partner, but if you don't have a partner they will try to match you with one. You need to call them and ask them to be matched. The cost is $30 per person which includes a BBQ on Sunday afternoon. $25 for tennis members (?!).

Sharon, you have to be one of few who reads my posts. I really appreciate that and thanks for the info. I might see if I can find a partner for the 4.5 or 5.0 level. I'm thinking Prateek or Rick. Do they have a mixed? I have to get a lot of court time in the next few weeks. I am on vacation starting today 8/31. If you want to catch up for a lesson, hit or just coffee and chit chat, let me know.

Hey, thanks for posting Dudley, I think I may sign up and play with a member, would be nice to come back to the home turf. 4.5-5.0 should be about right.

Hey! No problem Hal, it's great to hear from you. If you enter, let me know and I'll come watch. Since I coach YLT most of the time, my game has taken a backseat so I don't know if I will play. I spoke to Bill Gosma today. He has been coaching groups of adults and children for a local organization called Play Tennis San Diego. It's an interesting concept using homeowner courts for public instruction. They have offers through Groupon etc. You still coaching up north, how are you doing?
