Ok, so there are still clay court events being started in late July? It's not really news to me; I realize that clay court tournaments almost year-round, but it just seems silly. Sure, there's obviously a market for it, but it just seems weird to have people play nothing but clay court events. Seems like the clay court tournaments that ARENT in the spring (prep for Roland Garros) should be 250-point events (or maybe 100) and - in the case of summertime - the hard court events set at 500 at a minimum to further encourage players to play the non-clay events. I guess this is an open door to discuss the tour's calendar setup...
