Dear Tennis Friend,
I’m the captain of a 6.0 Mix doubles TEAM in Washington DC. We are going to be playing on Sundays at the East Potomac Tennis Center. I am looking for at least 2 more players rated 3.0 or 2.5 for our TEAM as well. Please let me know if you want to join us ASAP. The League starts this Sunday. Questions? Comments? id love to but im seriously only a beginner ive only been to two lessons. does that make me eligible?

Ok Luiza,
Usually what I counts at our level is the desire to play the game and the commitment to play at least once or twice a week. If you wants to hit some balls to kind of see where you are in the rating, please let me know. I got all my tennis stuff in the trunk of my car today. :)

Ok. If you have not joined the USTA, the one year membership is $ 40 dollars. Then you pay $ 65 dollars to join the DC USTA Mix doubles League. It would be great if you could join our Team Luiza, We are having a practice session Friday at 5:30 PM. Do you want to join us?

I'm in the same boat as you, but cant play with you because I'm all the way in Australia,Suckage. My mates who is awesome at tennis is teachin me a bit but he is really impatient with my skill level :(
