I have been a long time Wilson Pro Staff user and recently changed to The Babolat Aero Pro. The Wilson seems better at volleys, being able to hit my spots much easier but the Aero seems to be a more powerful racquet. My serves and ground strokes seem to pop off my racquet. I wonder if anyone has any thoughts on this or is it just me.

Unsure which prostaff you're referring to but either way they are 2 completely different types of racquets. Prostaffs (especially the 85 model) suit an advanced all court game, babolats more for baseliners seeking racquet head speed (power or spin). But does seem the heftier and smaller a racquet is, the crisper the volleys. The Wilson K90 and BLX 90 were not practical racquets at all save for volleying imho.

I also have been a long time Wilson Pro Staff user until recently.  The newer model racquets seem to have more power and clear the net higher (more spin).  However, I feel the Pro Staff has a better control feel.  Hope this helps.

Have you tried a Mantis II 310?
