Thank you kindly for those nice words...! I think as a "tennis community," we need to expand our thoughts and practice what we preach. I'm a firm believer that the tennis community on a whole is doing at best average. I think that we could better to help promote and expand tennis on a national level in every state. I noticed you wanted to start a "high performance league," well if you'd like me to contribute some input to help you get started, feel freet to give me a call at 631-682-9894, I will try to help you promote, and start the program. I look forward to speaking with you shortly.

    Sincerely,

    Dear Mary,

It was a pleasure speaking with you on the phone yesterday, I just wanted to up-date you on a few more ideas that I think you should share with your contacts. Honestly, at this point you're going to have to hire a "coach," that will give your kids the attention they need. The "coach," will have to create a program that is structured and implemented to help the growing needs of the tennis community within your area. I have estimated that the number of players that a coach can handle at a given time is probably around 15-30 depending on expectations, location, training involved, parentes involvement/commitment level, long-term goals. I was thinking of perhaps creating a small and private academy for ranked juniors only at those courts that we had discussed. If they're were 12 courts we could accomodate a maximum of 24 kids. The training would involve at least of 4 hours of on-court and off-court activity.

I would have to have a commitment level of at least 12 months for the first year from at least 15 familes that would agree to make it worth-while. I would have to move to Tennesse for a couple of years to help the growth and competency for each child. I can create individualized planning programs so that each junior is maximizing his or her own potential. We would cover topics such as:

    1. Bio-mechanics
    2. Psychology
    3. Nutrition
    4. Personal Training

This is just a brief review on what we would cover for each junior on a day-to-day basis. As a group, we will train and work-out at one location, preferably at the 12 court site. I wanna keep traveling to a minimum with parents and allow access to a home-site that we all agree on. I will include daily progress reports on a weekly basis to all parents to ensure that all training is properly being coordinated and executed. If you have time give me a call and well set up a time and day to have an indepth conversation on all the particulars. I hope you're doing well, and I look forwad to speaking with you again.

    Sincerely,

    Hi Jason,
Thanks! Sorry I missed your call last night we were out on the courts. I'll share this with the families that were interested and get back to you within a week (with people on vacation, etc. it may take me a few days to track people down!).
