Hey Tim, was looking at out league schedule and was informed by our captain that this weekend we are playing a team out of SBVC ... This reminded me of that one time we tried to set something up with "your" team.  Do you still keep in touch with those guys? Is this the same group who were are gonna be playing with this weekend?

Love the new profile picture brother!
  • Lendl Jr. (4.5)

Do you like those Babolat racquets?  Idk, they feel too light to me!  I still have my Head Radical but its kinda boingy! now i know why murray takes short swings at the ball.  I actually hit best with my Mizuno Lendl Type "S" .  They made the type "s" and "r" but ive never hit with the "r" model. I had it strung with gut and polyester but now have gone to a babolat string but its sure hard to go back to synthetic once you have tried gut!

the orange color scheme subconsciously is more appealing to your current color palette than the yellow, therefor emitting more endorphins in the same amount of time....chortel chortel  but it must be subconscious, as if you convince yourself you love your rackets or skii's or whatever, you will truly be excited to use them and will stimulate energy.and perform at a higher level..

I believe tsonga would still be using them if they still produced them...as he had a run with the orange scheme..i love the yellow and black scheme cause their like a few of my old volkl skiis..

  • Lendl Jr. (4.5)

Hi Tim, the Mizuno Type "S" weighs 360 grams.   Very heavy so i need to hit the weight room.  I like the weight as you get good inertia and if i get a good swing, its like a cannon shot. Overall, the best racquet i have ever hit with.
  • Lendl Jr. (4.5)

wow, people need to get a sense of humor here.!  I was just kidding about the hooters thing..  any how , love you long time!  hee hee ehe hee
  • Giselle Sotelo

Tim, Have you ever played with the Yonex rdis 100 mid???  If so, what are your thoughts???
  • Anatoly Antipin

    Hey,

Why nobody can understand so easy explanations? I practically didn’t use physic and math, tried to simplify everything as much as possible.

What do you think about wrist motions?

  • Lendl Jr. (4.5)

Hey tim, im going to London, england  from November 10-21 !  and yes, im going on the Wimbledon tour of the grounds and the museum!

5 pm Thursday Hey Tim!!! I just came home from Bart's -- watching the tennis channel...Roddick creamed by Murray.  Whew.  ...  We hit at Cordova earlier and I played singles with a friend earlier in the day.  So I am worn out....  Yeah -- I will see Bart Friday a.m. and hang out with him most of the day.  We are both artists and like to sketch together as well as tennis.  Would be great to watch you two Friday nite!! ... I like your comments on the site-- have enjoyed many of your posts!!  You are an informed tennis "junkie!  -- like Bart and I!  See you at 7 pm Friday nite!   Call me anytime if you need to contact on my cell 626 993 5105.

  • CoachV - William Vazquez

  • Michael Tucci

Congratulations on your header photo Tim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It looks totally awesome, it would look right at home on the the cover of "Tennis Pro" magazine! Kudos for all your hard work, you earned it.. : )

  • Michael Tucci

Thank you for the kind words, Tim. I can hope to maybe do that with some hard work here. I really dig your comedic style, and I agree: you are my brother from another mother! The cloth they cut us from is the new moisture wicking poly/spandex proprietary blend that is used by NASA.  The high tech stuff. But I do insist ,

"Prapong and Tucci" {Addicts at Court}....You are the founding partner!!!!! For now YOU are the king, I am the humble court jester.    Have a great day bro~!

  • Michael Tucci

Your long hair is the shi*...... I have been growing mine out since last year.....Its in that "in between" stage, so lots of hats and bandanas and such.

  • Michael Tucci

The hair thing sucks, hope it will be worth the wait. How long did it take to grow yours out to its present length? Did you get any trims in between?

  • TennisWithD

Tim you have taken a few lessons in your life I am confident you have a couple comments to thesebeast I churned out, lets hear it

  • TennisWithD

haha thanks, I put in some time. When you put yourself out there gotta make sure you can defend your position to the critics

  • Mark / The Mayor

    repost it with this!  :-)

  • Bill Longua

I am very old school with the knowledge that the modern game has grown and is correct in so many ways, as long as players have an idea to incorperate different styles and we teach what is best for the individual student.

  • Kevin Breault

    causs he's a bauwss

  • leela

  • Colleen Mac

Thanks, Tim. I couldn't find it at first.

  • Laura Denning

Haha- thank you. That would be the SF China Town special.

  • Laura Denning

I'd be careful if I were you about making fun of other cities. I had the opportunity to experience some of San Bernadino's finer points first hand  : )

  • Laura Denning

Yeah- it was actually a pretty sweet experience, 1st rave, just not so sweet of town (at least the part I was in lol). I've got to go work on a project right now though, if I ever go back to San B I'll be sure to bring my racquet.

  • CoachV - William Vazquez

  • CoachV - William Vazquez

  • SUMETHEE YOSSUNTHORN (SIM)

    It's been good so far!

  • Derek David

Thanks for the compliment Tim.  Since joining Tennisopolis, I have always found your comments to be level-headed and sincere.  I am preparing for "Old man/new racket vs young man/ wood racket 2013" by doing more weight training than I have ever done before.  I think it will be the difference between losing in 2012 and winning in 2013.

  • CoachV - William Vazquez

pros pro is that any good?
