- Very new to tennis! My tennis practice thus far has been confined to hitting against a wall. I have only learned the one-handed topspin backhand stroke, and even that needs work. BUT, I do practice about 3 or 4 times a week. I just want to be able to practice with someone because right now I can't afford lessons. Possibilities might include feeding balls to one another to improve strokes, etc. Anyway, I really want to play with another beginner who wants to learn, too.
