Thanks William, Are you from the Bronx? I grew up not far from the there. My father grew up in the Bronx. Arthur Avenue. Maybe you'd be interested in a sales rep position with AVERY Racquets? Let me know. All the best, Tom Avery

Coach, Back in the day when I was on tour , I used to stay at the Biltmore Hotel on West Peachtree Street. They had one lighted court, nice and private, so I could hide from the autograph seekers. Right accross from the Post Biltmore Apartments, a real nice bar, cant remember the name of it but definately go inside if you have time, you'll be surprised! with regards, Ivan Lendl

Hey Coach , I have a mint condition Sampras 6.o wilson Pro staff that I bought in 1995 at Holabird Sports in Maryland, do you know anyone who might be interested? I'm just not a Wilson fan, and someone else could appreciate it more. It is the 85 sq inch model with the head guard
  • Lendl Jr. (4.5)

Really? Its still for sale. It was strung once back in 1995 but i took the strings off and put it away and never used it. The grip still smells new, too.
  • Lendl Jr. (4.5)

Give me your phone number and I'll send you pictures thru my phone if you want.

Coach, i think the only thing kneissl makes now are skiS...hahahahahahahahahahahah.. Maybe now they might throw in a white star racquet with every ski purchase.... Lendl played with the Kneissl Lendl Pro up until 1980. Adidas took the mold and painted them silver (Lendl GTX Pro and then Pro T).
  • Lendl Jr. (4.5)

Coach, how do you convince people to take lessons? When I suggest it to people, they look at me like I have the plague.......
  • Lendl Jr. (4.5)

Ok.. I mean, I'm not qualified to be a coach, but I can definately play. I'm a member of the Chicagoland Tennis Club (a "Meetup" Group) http://www.meetup.com/Tennis-Club/ and theres about 200 members but only a handful can really play, so its not a lot of fun for me. I have suggested group lessons but no one seems to be interested in that. In the six months I have played with them, hardly any of them have improved one bit.
  • Lendl Jr. (4.5)

I believe on formal instruction as I took lessons as a junior from a really good coach, Chris Crawford, A USTA hall of famer http://www.texas.usta.com/News/2003_10/44285_Texas_Tennis_Hall_of_F... I paid my dues when i was a junior player.... When my friends were out partying, I was sneaking onto country club courts at night and playing tennis, all to get better.
  • Lendl Jr. (4.5)

No net play for the girls? I even like to come to the net with my 80 sq inch racquet. I take a short ball and force my opponent to come up with a passing shot. I'm surprised that a Usta hall of famer would say that. Most of them were all- court players back in the day.
  • Lendl Jr. (4.5)

    Hey coach,
I found a picture of me in my Lendl stuff back in 1985!!!! Check it out!!
  • John

I've seen your name in Tennisopolis FOREVER, so I'm more than happy to accept your invitation. :) Btw, that signature in your book is probably Don Budge, American former World No. 1 ... but you probably already figured that out. Coach, I like the idea of you taking questions on Chat to help players improve their game.  I think we could schedule a time for it, like an hour, and promote it on the Forum and in the Beginner Group (and your own groups) and let everyone know when the hour is going to be.  What do you think?  If you like the idea, let's set a time in the evening and I will promote it.

Hey Coach V, Thanks for the comment. Sorry so late; we went to Dallas yesterday to go to the FC Dallas MLS game and got back late. I do have a world renowned coach that resells the WinSock and included it in one of his instructional videos. Also some other top level coaches re-selling the them. I think you could do some good in Atlanta as it is a tennis mecca in the USA and the recent exposure from our commercial on Tennis Channel and ESPN will help too. What are your thoughts for potential sales in your area? Lets come up with a good plan for you to be a retailer for us there. There is also a shop in Charlotte N.C. wanting to resell from his store there as well so that would get coverage on the east coast. The more exposure we get the better. Let me know what you think.

  • wsm.grace

    Thank you.

  • Brandon Gita

Have you strungen the rackets yet?

  • Brandon Gita

That is ... I am not supprised. When did you see Maia Barton last time? I made it to the Consolation finals winning three matches in a row. I played the guy I lost to in the first round, again in the final.

  • Brandon Gita

I tried doing what you said but  I didn't stay in the point long enough. My serves were better. I aced him twice. I just got a little upset as well. It was totally different than the first time.
