Hey, I was looking at your profile and I noticed you said that you hit a very flat, heavy ball. I always thought a heavy ball referred to one with lots of topspin which creates more downward force thus feeling heavier than it actually is when struck. What do you consider heavy to mean? I figure a flat shot would have less topspin.

I'm looking for someone to hit this friday or weekend. I usually play at Griffith's Park or Burbank Tennis Center. I'm a one hander with a semi western spin forehand.

    Hey Robin,
I'm quick and ready for hitting groundies and practicing; just trying to improve my timing and get a good work out. My level is 4-4.5, in good shape and have a permit. I’m mostly available to hit in Brooklyn area (Bridgeview Club, Kaiser Park, Marine Park, Manhattan Beach, Prospect Park, Ft Greene) courts.
Let me know if you ever want to hit.

    Hi Robin,

I live within walking distance of Ft. Greene Park. I'm a former regionally ranked USTA tournament player, a little rusty, but looking to get back into playing regularly again. Let me know if you'd like to hit sometime.

    Cheers!

If you have some free time next week, I will be in Burbank Mon. , Tues., and Wed. We can hit anytime from 10-3...

How's your wrist...Serving yet...I don't mind drills and working on specific shots. Have you ever played at the two courts on Riverside and Beachwod? I have never seen anyone playing on them...

    Are you even in LA?

Griffith, Vermont, or any other courts work as well.... Have a great, cold time in NYC..... I don't think much tennis is happening there unless you are indoor!

    Hello!
I just moved to Nyc at the end of last year, and now I am looking to get back to the court. I have not been playing for like 3 months for an injury. I used to play in SF and OC with 5.0 and above players. I am italian, rated 5.0 or more, I have been playing at good levels all my life. Where do you usually play? I just want to get back playing constantly. I am trying to build connections in this city and get back to play since I do not have any tennis contact here! I live in EV but willing to move and play regularly.
Let me know, I am down to play as soon as possible!
