    Hi Amy! Welcome to Tennisopolis.
I got your note. I don't see the "This is You" comment. It may be a comment, not from another member, but standardized by the site to tell members when they are looking at themselves... as if we'd need someone to tell us who we are. Let me know if you can tell me exactly where that comment is.

    c ya around,

Oh got ya. It only says that to you, no one else sees "This is you". And you only see it if you are cruising the site while not logged in and you look at yourself, which is impossible since we require people to log in.... LOL Anyway, it is not there. It's kinda like when you upload a photo, it says "uploaded by Me", but it only says that to you, everyone else sees your username.... strange computer world stuff.

Hi, Amy! Yes, I ride a dressage arabian that I'm leasing, and I also ride 2 Fjords (Norwegian horses) that belong to another friend also named Amy. My old guy in the pic is a retired thoroughbred. Do you ride?

I'm getting started in tennis, about a 2.5 player, if you'd like to do some hitting around sometime, if you live in the Boulder area.

Amy -- that's my "real" background; hunter/jumpers. Kahlua, here, was more of a jumper and a bit too "hot between the ears" for my hunter style of riding. I'm just learning baby elements of dressage, not really taking lessons except once in awhile. So yes, I'd love to visit your farm if I'm ever in Georgia! We can ride and swat some tennis balls.

I grew up down at the "Jersey Shore" in Long Branch/Tinton Falls area. I lived the last 3 years in Lyndhurst which is right next to Giant Stadium. I miss Jersery...but I don't miss the snow..lol

    Hi Amy,
I am excited that you have become a member of the Duluth group. When and how can we meet? Does your husband play too?

Here is a good website to tell you how to measure the grip size for you.

Good job on your blog for hitting mindfully last night.
Today was such a beautiful weather - perfect day for tennis, which I got to hit some with my die hard tennis player friend. I, too need to learn to think before swing that racket esp. swinging it low to high and closed.

Hi Amy! Your page rocks - it's crazy in here. :-)
Can you do me a big favor since you are kinda in the Atlanta Area? We have a North Atlanta group and a GATECH group, but we really need a good old fashioned Atlanta Tennis group. Can you start it up? There's tons of atl players here who are without a meeting place.
    lemme know,

Hey Amy...I've been playing 2 years but have put 7 years worth in. I play B3 ALTA and 3.5 USTA. We're not far from y'all here near Chateau Elan. Infact, we were just up in Cumming last week and lost in the 2nd round of mixed doubles playoffs. I will check out the ATL Aces!
