Hi Joshua,

No matter what you choose, I suggest to pick a balanced racquet. All the major providers offer a few in their various lines. They are arm/elbow-friendly and once you'll get used to playing with one, it'll be much easier for you to move to head-light racquet as you improve. The demo programs as suggested belwo are also a good.

Hope this helps.

Hi Joshua, there was a thread post, one of my members of TVTA was asking for racquet advice. Over the many years, I have played with many of the major racquet brands, Wilson, Prince, Donnay, and a few others not so well known, Yamaha, Rawlings, Slazenger. All racquets are pretty much made of the same material, composite graphite. My best  suggestion is to try a demo program. One company in your area, Tenniswarehouse has a great demo program. My best friend and a fellow tennis coach recently moved to your area, Bill Gosma PTR. Look him up, I'm sure he can help you and perhaps become your tennis partner. Thanks!
