I'll definitely be looking for games. I'm in Farmington.
Great. I am in west hartford lets keep this in mind when the weather gets nicer. i am a casual player that likes some good competition. let me know when you are up for a game.
I'm in New Haven, there are 8 courts at Edgewood Park. I'd love to play with anyone I'm around a 2 to 2.5 at the moment (I play better if my opponent is better than me). I'm free after 4 on Sunday-Thursday and all day Friday and Saturday.
hey .. im near the west hartford mall too.
can play most evenings and weekends

i am thinking of starting a facebook group to co-ordinate tennis activity...

let me know if you think that works for you... might get a larger group that way too.

Hello everyone

Tennisopolis is not the best way to plan location, timing and other things about setting up casual tennis games.

we have two options:
1) Meetup.com ($144 a year) or
2) Facebook (free)

For now I have created a Facebook group called "Hartford Tennis Group"
Please become members and then we can start planning events.

The idea is to get as many people playing. We can play at one location or different location; whatever suits the group in the end. Its warm again, just bring your tennis gear and start hitting yellow balls around.

And if people dont mind pitching in a bit, Meetup.com is pretty cool too. It doesnt mess with your Facebook account and manages things better. I used it to join a tennis group in NC and we went from 10 people to 150 in about 6 months. We had 12-20 people playing every time.

Hope to see you on the Facebook group. You could be playing tennis this week (or weekend).

Thanks
gaurav
