Hi I'm looking for 3.5 players to join my team. If you looking to play up I'm willing to open enrollment to 3.0 players as well. Please contact me thru the USTA website under Davie. Thanks!

I haven't found a home yet for tennis, Crow Canyon was interested but they are changing some things over there. I miss all the ladies squads, have fun on the court.

Sharon B, I noticed you are 3.5, which is where I was playing at last year in a Walnut Creek league. I also live in Danville and would like to hit sometime, when the weather gets nice again! Either on a sunny weekend or when DST starts again in mid-March. Let me know? Thanks, Jeff

clinics are more about stroke improvement. when i coached the usta 3.5 ladies, i covered doubles strategy, and about smart play, 1st serves, cross court returns, lobs, volleys, and taking control of the net. its about shot intention and knowing what to anticipate. you can be a 3.0 but if you know how you play smart, you can play at a higher level.

at your level, its not really about learning to hit strokes. its more about strategy and execution. its not about social doubles. its about being strong, competitive and winning.

Hi Sharon, just so you know our Thursday eve drop-in has moved to Dougherty High School. We will soon be adding a second drop-in on the weekend at Central Park. Anyways, I know you belong to many tennis leagues but I'd like to practice with you when you have the time. Aloha.

Hi Sharon, thanks for getting back to me on this message of mine from November. You know, I only played in one match because 8.0 was too much for me too. I am very happy at 3.5 and playing 7.0 Mixed. But I have been playing some singles. Let me know if you want to play some time. I work in San Ramon and I can play some evenings after work. Right now I am captain of a 7.0 Mixed team, and it is taking up a lot of time, but I can work around it.

Hi. We created an Avatar Grab Bag where you can get an image for your picture. Here's how to do it:
1. Go to the Grab Bag.
2. Choose a pic, click on the thumbnail, then right click on the image and "save picture as" and save it to your computer.
3. Click Change My Photo below the gray head image to the left.
4. Click the photo graphic and choose "upload from my computer".

(Or, if you want to be truly unique, do the same thing with any photo you find on the web.) That should do it. If you have any questions, just send me a message.

Hi Sharon! It's great to have you here!
We need a Danville Group page, click here to start it. If you need any help, let me know.

We are all very excited to have created this "community-based" tennis website which puts the focus on the members.

To get started, please upload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Join the group in your area and introduce yourself in there. Some groups have regular meeting times and some are more one-on-one and flexible. If there’s no group in your area yet, start a group page for your town and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.

Tennisopolis is also a great place to network with people all across the country and talk about this game we love.

Other places to explore:
- come talk tennis in the forum
- add your own photos
- post your own blog entries.

…and just hang out and meet great people.

Welcome aboard,
Mark
