hi reet. thanks for the friend request which i have accepted. the trivalley group has been meeting regularly since mid-july. i started the group last year with only a handful of people, but this year it has grown to almost 75. over the last few months, we have had a good dozen or more show up for doubles. due to the cold weather and declining attendance, i decided to put the regular thursday tennis on hold. many of us will continue to play by arrangement. i will add you to the email list so you know when we are playing.

Reet,

The teams that are starting up now are either Ball or Fall. These are both women's double leagues that play weekday mornings. The next USTA league that I know about is mixed doubles but that doesn't start until January. They play nights and weekends. There might be other type of USTA leagues that play in the fall but I don't play on them. You might want to check the USTA website.

Reet, Sorry, I didnt get your email back in Feb! I captain a B.A.L.L. team that is based in Danville. Our home courts are Osage park. I also play USTA for Club Sport San Ramon. Let me know if you are interested in either one of these.

Hi REET/Raj,

I am in Pleasanton and am flexible on the timings as I work from home and end my day around 4 pm. Let me know if you want to play anytime this week or the weekend. I am a strong 3.5 as well and would like to improve on it.

Regards,

Suresh

Hi! It's great to have you here! This is our *new* generic welcome message that, fortunately, is required due to the enormous growth. We're growing by 100 new members a day, and we just couldn't keep up. But that's a good thing. ;-)

Invite your friends too. We’re trying to reach 20,000 members by Wimbledon. :-)
If you need any help, let me know.

You just joined a super fun and infectious "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you.

To get started, please upload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Look through the Groups or create a Group of your own and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.

Here’s a primer on how to meet other players.

The Forum is really the hub of the online community. Other places to explore: post youtube videos, add your own photos, write your own blog.

…and just hang out and meet great people.

Welcome aboard,
Mark
