I'm looking for someone to hit or play singles this coming Sat around the Peninsula area. I can play somewhere between Palo Alto and SFSU courts.

Check out the gathering at Canada College Saturday mornings.

Hey LuvTennis,

Just check your profile and i see that you are from milbrae, maybe canada college is too far for you?!
do you know anywhere else that has at least 3 courts opened at the same time? I can try to switch places and see how it goes. we just can't seem to find a lot of places that have a lot of courts. =) college of san mateo is a possibility.
but right now it's the holiday season and it seems to me that we have less people.

what about your weeknights schedule? We do have a gathering on thursday 5pm in burlingame.
Cañada College is not too far. I wouldn't change that location unless many frequently-attending members are saying it's too far for them. I usually prefer to play singles (set), though. Or at least just hit singles. You guys usually play doubles there, right? Holiday season is definitely here and many people are out of town.

oh well i think that we are just really casual, so people just hit singles or doubles with whoever, that also depends on the court availability since sometimes you don't have a choice, but i guess @canada, it's easier for people to hit singles, all you need to do is ask someone to hit with you. I do understand that you probably want to hit with someone at your level, that's why i want more people to come so we have more people at different levels. ~chris

I can play two weekday mornings and Saturday mornings. I'm in Foster City.

Looking forward to playing.

Maybe we can meet half way around San Mateo this Sat morning around 11a if that works for you.

Hey Luv,
I would say that we play doubles because of court availability and the number of folks that show up. If courts are available people will peel off and hit singles, its really up to you since there is no real organization to the day. It might be fun to organize a impromptu singles tourney some weekend. If you're into that make a suggestion and we can go for it.
We did pair up an play doubles matches one weekend, I thought it was fun, otherwise you can just ralley with people for hours on end.

I can play Mon/Tue/Wed evening after 6PM. Usually play in Washington Park in Burlingame or in Foster City. I am USTA 3.5. I am new to tennisopolis.
Anyone interested in playing singles Saturday morning in Foster City area? Will travel up to 10 miles. I am USTA 3.5 Male.
Come out to the event at Canada college Saturday morning 10am. The more the better. We have a good mix, most folks are at least 3.0-.5. The format depends on what people want to do, rally or games, singles or doubles.

Jim
Hey,
Where are you guys meeting up for Saturday April 4th? Let me know if anyone wants to play. Singles would be good, doubles ok.
