Fed has given the King of Clay something to think about in this week leading up to Roland Garros. Go Fed!

Records were meant to be broken...Come on Roger, I know you still have enough in you to beat Pistol Pete's record!!!....Raise the bar!

Maybe the only tougher daw may have been having to face Agassi and Hewitt back to back at the USO in '04 but that was when Fed was at the zenith of his powers. I saw the highlights from Nalby and Rafa at IW and that was a classic choke job. OMG! You have to put Rafa away at that point. That's why David is so disappointing, he has the game to beat the top players but his mindset constantly brings him down. At least nutjob Safin has been able to win majors. All "Big Wave Dave" has is a suprise Wimby final.

I agree, the draw is crazy hard for Roger this year! But it will be a good test. And it's pretty rough on the other side, too - glad Roger didn't have to play Nalbandian last round!

Man I wish Fed would play like Nalbandian. More placement, less power and mix up the shots! Nalbo knew he had Nadal and he choked, totally gave away that match. I can't imagine the pressure, you gotta be a pro and overcome it.

Jazz, this may be the toughest draw for Fed that I have ever seen. Can you remember a tougher one?

Well fans, Tomorrow is Fed vs. Verdasco for the right to face Andy Murray in the semi's at Indian Wells. Hopefully Fed can take out the AO semi-finalist who took out Murray in Melbourne. This is the toughest possible draw I've seen Roger face this year. Verdasco, then Murray, then a possible Finals showdown with Nadal. Good luck with that Fedman!

Well, Fed will not be working with Cahill. however Mikeindo reports that our main man will become a father. Congrats to Fed and MIrka!

I'm just a newbie so be patent with me but I think Roger will bonce back I htink in some ways he is still healing form last year. when you push yourself when you are sick all you do is prolong hte sickness. I also think he will figure everything out when he is ready.

But he was also trying too hard to win points on winners that weren't there, like forehands from behind the baseline hit down the line or up the middle, Nadal can get to those. Instead of trying for those shots too early, go short crosscourt and keep making Nadal run instead of giving into frustration.

Of course, we're all armchair tennis players.
