Hello. I am new to this and trying to find tennis rally partner(s). Haven't played in awhile, but I use to have a decent game. I love the sport and am anxious to find rally/workout/set player. thank you, Rudy

PS...my neighborhood courts would be McDonald Courts and Kaiser Courts.

A.M. tennis is best for me.

Hi....I am similar to your level. I live in Sheepsheadbay, Brooklyn. Let me know when and where you want to play for an hour or so. I live near Kelly Park (E.14th and Ave. S) and Marine Park too. I think you need a permit for Marine Park though, and I don't have one. Here's my email addy. marahjoylough@aol.com

Hello Brooklyniters! I have to say thank you to whomever developed this site because I have just been traversing meetup.com trying to find tennis groups in our lovely borough and didn't have much luck until hopping onto craiglist with the intent of finding someone to play with.

So here's my schpeal. I live in Gravesend, Brooklyn (it's off the F train--Avenue P). I have a bike so I can travel to courts in the area. I used to play recreationally for the most part and then while riding my bike I found The Bridgeview Racquet Club, where I eventually took some group lessons for 6 weeks. Those lessons ended recently and I miss playing! I haven't learned some of the basics yet, like scorekeeping or how to produce a top spin, but I am an enthusiastic learner. I don't consider myself very competitive, but I definitely have it in me. I like to be active on the court and am up for a challenge. I have a tennis permit that I would love to get some use out of. The courts in my neighborhood (at that Racquet Club) off Bay Parkway usually have something open and the best part is that they are open during the winter. They put a big bubble over the courts and have night lights so people can play until 1am!

Please feel free to reply if you think you might have time to play. The weekends are usually best for me. I am a morning person so I don't mind getting up early on the weekends to play. I work late during the week and it takes me an hour to get home from work so weeknights aren't so easy for me, unless we meet up in Manhattan (I work in Chelsea area).
