Mark, I did use it when i was in my gym and it/exercise works to strengthen the muscles in your arm as well as stretching the tendon, Elbow Ease also does this and you can use it anywhere, anytime and it works.

Hi Mark, I did read the article in the NY Times by Gretchen Reynolds, which was very interesting and her mentioning the use of the flex bar is a good one and one of the many ways to get rid of tennis elbow, The beauty of using Elbow Ease besides working quickly through exercise it also is smallest enough to fit in your pocket and gives you the same results  It can be used whenever you feel a little pain in your elbow and works, you'll feel it work as soon as you try it.  It's also inexpensive.  You can use it in your car, watching TV, while your walking, at your desk.

Have you tried the technique used in the NY Times article?  They use a flex bar and do exercises that strengthen the tendon.  Worked great for me.
