Tennisopolis : Tennis Social Network

I'm moving to Bethesda this July and I'm looking for some good adult clinics.

I used to play competitively, but quit tennis for a few years and I've been playing very off-and-on over the past 6-7 years. I'm likely somewhere around a 4.0/4.5 USTA rating right now, and it's hard to find adult clinics in that range. I prefer to play clinics over matches (i.e. I don't want to play in a USTA league).

Anyone have any suggestions on what tennis clubs to look at, or any specific clinics you know of?

Off the top of my head. I would try:

1 - http://montgomerytennisplex.com/     North a bit in Germantown but lots of programs and clinics. I'd call and see what they recommend. They may be able to match you up with hitting partners and/or programs.

2 - http://qostc.com/tennis.htm#TNT    Quince Orchard Swim and Tennis has drills and clinics for adults. You can also just rent a ball machine and court and have at it. Remote control ball machines and a couple hundred balls.

3 - http://www.tennisdc.com/court_detail/bethesda-whitley-park    Whitley Park is in Bethesda near Pooks Hill Marriott. Don't know if they have clinics/drills but worth a call.

Thank you!!
